Summer fun or summer work?

Today was floor day. I'm not much fan of washing the floor, and Tiger-monkey was being her usual helpful self. (Aka: She's in the way)

Music playing, she spent prep time dancing.

Put some water in the bucket. Then I dropped one of the microfibre cleaning cloths I was using on the cupboards. Instead of picking it up - I put my foot on it and scrubbed out a mark off the floor.

Tiger-monkey decided I'd started a new game!

We're long done, but she's still playing with the cloths on the floor.

Tiger-monkey's loom knitting

Tigers monkey's dad, Eynowd, recently learned how to loom knit, and has made the ladies of the household some lovely scarves.

Today I caught her trying to use the loom, so I set it up, and showed her how to pull the wool over the pegs. After each round I set up the loom again, and hand out back for the next round.

She is very proud of her results.
